Microsuction is the safest method available, but we'll always conduct a consultation first to confirm suitability.
Yes, microsuction does not affect your ability to drive or perform normal activities afterward.
This depends on the individual. Some may require it more frequently due to faster wax build-up, or hearing aids pushing the wax deeper in the ear, others may needs it only occasionally.
Once your appointment has been booked we will then advise about the use of drops. We usually recommend to use olive oil drops such as Earol for two days prior to an appointment, however, any recommendations are on a person by person basis. We do not recommend the use of Hydrogen peroxide or Sodium Bicarbonate drops as it can make the procedure more difficult.
Do not use cotton buds to remove ear wax. This will push it further in and make the wax build up worse.
