Meet Joseph
With over a decade of experience in audiology, Joseph began his journey studying hearing aid audiology at Aston University, Birmingham. Upon completing his studies, he registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and worked as a hearing aid audiologist for an accredited hearing care company, delivering both NHS and private hearing services.
Joseph’s role encompassed ear health checks, hearing assessments, diagnosing hearing loss, and prescribing hearing aids with dedicated aftercare. Helping people regain clarity in their hearing was incredibly rewarding, reinforcing his passion for ear health.
As his expertise grew, Joseph naturally transitioned into ear wax removal, training under a Consultant ENT Surgeon through the ‘Clearwax Endoscopic Ear Care Course'. This specialist skill allowed him to establish DisappEar Wax, initially offering home visits alongside his hearing aid work. What started as a local service in Bournemouth, Poole & Christchurch quickly expanded, driven by GP and patient recommendations. Demand grew, and soon DisappEar Wax became Joseph’s full-time focus.
Since 2020, DisappEar Wax has provided trusted, professional ear wax removal in the comfort of your home. Joseph’s Goal remains the same-to offer safe and expert care with a personal touch, ensuring every patient receives the highest level or professional and ethical service.
